13. Base mapping (Digital Aerial Photography and Photogrammetry)
Following adoption of the Area Transportation Plan, project development work in the highest priority corridor was initiated. More detailed and accurate data was needed for corridor-level planning activities. Digital aerial photography was obtained for use as a base map and to help verify some of the digital data used in area plan development process. Wetlands from an older digital layer that were visible on top of a building, parking lot or road were removed.
